Lea Deutschmann is an idea developer, conceptual artist and designer living and working with her partner and their three children between Brussels and Leipzig, Germany. The central motivation behind her artistic installations and visual projects is the desire to foster human connection in an increasingly disconnected world. Lea Deutschmann’s work often explores the impact of digital technology, societal division, and emotional isolation—and responds with art that evokes a sense of collective strength, the magic of togetherness, and a deep connection with oneself and others.
Through her work, she aims to counteract social fragmentation and offer moments of empathy, presence, and shared experience. Lea Deutschmann’s artistic practice spans drawing, sculptures and art installations resulting in a distinctive and eclectic body of work that blends visual clarity with emotional depth.
After completing her Bachelor of Applied Apparel Design in Brussels, where she lived and worked for five years, Lea Deutschmann moved to Berlin in 2014. There, she freelanced for various projects, ran her own label Klainod for five years, and graduated her Master of Arts at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Berlin in 2020.
In 2020, Lea Deutschmann co-created the Attentive app with three friends—an app to reduce screen time to re-connect with ourselves and others in the offline life.
